New Studio Progress Report

Hi Everyone! I know that we are disappointed that the studio will not be opening on September 7 as orinally planned. There was a long delay in getting the permit from the City but construction has been full steam ahead ever since. I am truely blessed on the opportunity I have had with this new facility. I cannot even begin to express the professionalism and warmth our new space will hold as the only one of its kind in Central Oregon. Our contracter has been working steady and long hours to finish our project. Everyday something new is finished. Tomorrow drywall starts. The First Pictures is of the lobby and my office, the second is of the hallway looking down. Since these pictures were taken so much is already done! Thank you to all of the Vibe Family for waiting this out and I cannot wait to share our state of the art perminant home with you all!

Jazz Company and Hip Hop Crew Auditions

2010-2011 Competition Jazz Company and Hip Hop Crew Auditions
Tomorrow, Saturday April 17th at The Vibe Dance Center


Jazz Company Auditions 10AM

For improved efficiency and commitment for travels, we are planning to restructure our competitive Jazz Classes for next Fall and the 2011 competition season. All Jazz III and higher dancers are invited to audition. Please make it a priority to be on time and arrive in appropriate jazz attire (and shoes). Auditions should take about two hours. The minimum requirement for Jazz Company is 4 hours of dancer per week including technique, ballet and 2 hours of company class



Hip Hop Crew Auditions - 1pm ages 9-13yrs and 3pm for ages 14-adult

All level hip hop dancers are encouragd to audition. Please make sure you have your hip hop style and will be ready to learn! If you make a crew class your requirement will be a technical class (jazz, ballet or tech), a hip hop class and your crew class. These classes are required to attend Regional Competition in May 2011.

All current MVP, True Vibe, Fresh Vibe and New Skool Crew dancers are required to re-audition!

Doug & Reed Win Central Oregon's Got Talent!!

On March 13th two Vibe dancers, Doug P. and Reed D., participated in the Central Oregon's Got Talent Competition here in Bend at the Tower Theater. Their Hip Hop dance duet won them First Place! Vibe Dancers Michaela R. and Maddi G. also represented The Vibe well last year winning First Place and got to perform an encore piece at this years show. Way to go Vibe Dancers! Vibe Owner Choreographs for Music Video with Vibe dancers.

Sarah Hall has recently rapped the Jah Sun "Microchip" Music Video project. Sarah choreographed dancers (featuring Vibe dancers Sarah Rivera, Kyla Bancroft and Haley Bennett) for recording artist Jah Sun's most recent Music Video which is expected to receive MTV airtime in Jamaica and the Caribbean as well as Germany. Here is the "Making Of.." trailer for the video airing soon.

If there were one word to describe The Vibe, it would be color. The atmosphere is bright and positive; the passion has no extent. Everyday, the studio sees a collage of different personaliies and asperations. This is true for many sports alike. However, dancers at The Vibe see dancing as a lifestyle, a getaway, and even a vacation from school, work, and the occasional hard decisions. Somehow, The Vibe has collectively managed to accomplish taking all the similarities, differences, and the wide range of ages; taking all the colors of the rainbow, and calling it a family. We have the firey red drive to make our dreams come true. We have the black intensity of passion for what we do. We are The Vibe Dance Center!
